Responsibilities:

  • Largely independent planning of events and on-site construction management
  • Leading and guiding technical planners and drafters
  • Creating drawings, construction schedules, and tender documents
  • Selecting and coordinating suppliers, technicians, and service providers
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and legal regulations

Requirements:

  • Completed technical training or degree in event management
  • Ideally certified as a Responsible Person for Event Technology (§39/40 VStättV)
  • Extensive experience in technical planning and implementation of events
  • In-depth knowledge of lighting, sound, and stage technology
  • Proficiency in CAD software (especially Vectorworks | AutoCAD)
  • Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet in high-pressure situations
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Are you looking for an exciting role in the event industry? Are you a master of Vectorworks or AutoCAD? Ready to join a dynamic team? Then this position as a Technical Draftsperson at Production Office is perfect for you!

Our planning goes beyond sound, lighting, video, and stage setups. We tackle all technical and logistical challenges our clients face, from infrastructure and kinetics to SFX, tents, scaffolding, furniture, health and safety, green production, fire safety concepts, and even full-scale building permits. Collaboration is key, and everyone contributes their expertise as part of the team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create technical drawings under the guidance of the Technical Director
  • Develop and maintain the master plan
  • Integrate references from specialist planners (lighting, sound, stage, etc.)
  • Independently create plans for furnishing, rigging, and video setups
  • Quantify material requirements and translate them into tender documents

Your Profile:

  • Proficiency in CAD software (especially Vectorworks | AutoCAD)
  • Preferably, knowledge of lighting, sound, and stage technology
  • Familiarity with building regulations (BetrVO, VStättV) is a plus
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
